Wells Fargo has been trying to help Baltimoreans stuck in troubled mortgages.
The Wells Fargo Homeownership Preservation Workshop has been at the Baltimore Convention Center since Monday.
The workshop is aimed at helping people reorganize their mortgages with the company.
“We’re here to review their financials including their income, their expenses to see what options are available to help them avoid the payment challenges they are facing today,” said Senior Vice President of Wells Fargo Mortgage Servicing Joe O’Hanyon
Wednesday is the last day of the workshop as it will run through 7 o’clock. Wells Fargo has also done this in Phoenix, Chicago and Atlanta.
Baltimore did file suit against Wells Fargo for predatory lending practices but the company says this workshop was not in response to that.
If you missed the workshop, they say you can call 1-800-678-7986 for assistance.
